Photography workshop for The Hollins pupils

A productive afternoon for The Hollins photography project group. We started the session with a discussion about themes for the images to be created.  Members of the group can choose to work alone or with other members in a joint project.  Lots of ideas were bouncing around – shapes, colours, angles, exteriors, nature, people, the list grew as pupils explored the possibilities.
Interest in viewing the stable block/ motor house led us to go across the park, past the Art Garden and into the stable block.  We were met by Bee who described the variety of artists who are tenants in the building.  Pottery, painting, willow weaving, graphic design, theatre workshop, are just a few of the wide range of activities to be found.  All the photos are being collated at school and will form the basis of an exhibition opening in the gallery on March 17.
